Creamy, Fluffy, Dreamy, Shiny

Cream as a decor device in Shabby Chic isn't groundbreaking - but used with texture can result in elegance or the kind of comfort only associated with mashed potato. Which I happen to love. I had an idea last year that my knitting friend Stace should apply her skills to creating curtains for her lounge, but she sensibly pointed out that she'd need more wool than was financially viable to get there. Since then I've begun to see knitting used in really cool ways to cover chairs and as bed blankets..but not curtains yet!
In any case, I've been collecting images that showcase the softness and texture that cream conveys, so take a stroll.
